Department:
Global Client Services, Greater China
Role Reports to:
Regional Director, Global Client Services, Greater China
Language requirements:
- English (fluent spoken & written)
- Chinese (native)
Main Accountabilities:
- Manage relationships with key accounts in Shanghai/East China.
- Continue to expand the Control Risks business in the Shanghai region:
* To expand and maintain the existing client base in the region
* To identify, target and attract new clients to the Control Risks' portfolio
- Coordinate business development and marketing initiatives in conjunction with Global Client Services' and Marketing Dept colleagues and the wider Asia Pacific business
- Working with international offices to support sales in the Greater China region
- Identify industry conferences and other business events to promote Control Risks, its associated branding, and gain professional recognition and standing. Conduct research prior to each event on possible attendees and intended "pitch". Follow-up after each event, seeking targets for one-to-one meetings, bringing along appropriate colleagues.
- Maintain records of contacts & prospects on CRM system; track outcomes of major events on CRM.
- Act as project coordinator for multi-disciplinary tasks as required.
Skills/Competencies:
- Identify, research, and monitor client company's progress locally and regionally
- Gain access to & build relationships with key people in client company
- Understand and define client problems & scope potential solution
- Present confidently to senior management
- Present Control Risks' range of services through different modes of communication; i.e. PowerPoint presentation; email brief; round table presentation; informal discussion
- Communicate client relationship and client requests in detail to other Control Risk consultants
Experience, qualifications and other requirements specific to the role:
Essential
- Minimum bachelor degree
- At least three years working experience in consulting or related industry
- MS Office proficiency
