Business: finance control and Accounting

Reports To: General Manager & Headquater finance controller

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Overseeing and develops an understanding of the cost structure to enable monitoring of the costs.
? To do product costing; to cooperate with S&M and Purchasing team, to analysis purchasing cost to achieve lower cost; to analysis product’s margin
? Implement and monitor budgetary control system.
? To co-ordinate with warehouse, planning, shipping on the financial impact and monitor inventory movement.
? Set up accounting system to be use in Dominant Shanghai
? Review and approve Suppliers Invoices/Payment Vouchers/Journal Entries
? To handle and maintain full set of account
? Review monthly/yearly financial statements and reports and do variance analysis/report for Management
? Ensure that systems and procedures are in compliance with company policies and accounting records are kept in accordance to Approved Accounting Standards Statutory requirements
? Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, cash flow, budgetary control and forecasting plan, handle tax and banking matters.
? Liaise with lawyers, tax advisers, auditors, bankers and local regulatory bodies.
? To review the internal control system on a regular basis, to give proposals for improvements if needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
? Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification (e.g ACCA/ CPA)
? Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with at least 3 years in a managerial position .
? Strong management and financial skills
? Familiar with accounting system
? Exposure to financial management in manufacturing or retailing industry will be an added advantage
? Strong in corporate taxation and regional taxation matters especially China
? Excellent analytical and communication skills
? Highly developed ability to work independently and meet regular deadlines
? Committed to continuous improvement
? Possess effective communication, people management and problem solving skills
? Travel requirements: Domestic and/or International, minimal, as required.
? Independent, self-driven and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
? Required language(s): Chinese, English.
