职位描述
This position will provide office environment technical support to the organization. The IT Support Engineer will provide technical support to various departments, including computer hardware and software in windows environment.
Main responsibilities:
1. Administer and support computer systems and associated equipment.
2. Install, configure, and maintain hardware/software.
3. Monitor system performance and resources.
4. Windows NT and Windows 2003 Servers migration
5. Troubleshoot software, hardware and applications issues.
6. Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for new server and hardware purchases.
Basic requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above. At least three years help-desk support experience; Laptop and PC support experience.
2. Knowledge of computer hardware, and interested in new technology.
3. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system (Mainly Windows 2000/XP and Server).
4. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suit and other office application (Mainly Office 2000/XP and lotus notes).
5. Knowledge of computer periphery system such as LAN network and printer.
6. Hands on experience.
7. Solid work ethics and willingness to put in extra time/effort, service oriented.
8. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to work independently on multiple tasks;
9. Good capability of correspond and communication.
10. Excellent English ability in writing and speaking.
