KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/主要职责 ( include EHSS responsibilities)

The Marketing Specialist (MS) position within LBC exists to support maintaining market leader ship and facilitate sustainable growth of the LB Greater China construction polymers business. With intensified competitive activities, an oversupply in the market and broad fluctuations in currency and raw material prices, there is an ever-increasing need for accurate market intelligence. The MS will support the LB GC business team in preparing market analysis. He/she will assist in gathering market and customer data from internal and external sources, defining and evaluating market segments and assist in the preparation of management presentations, and individualized (PPT) presentations directed to specific customers, market segments and/or internal work groups. The MS will also support in the maintenance and actualization of appropriate databases used to monitor the LB GC business. Specific responsibilities include:

1. Support MM to develop go-to-market strategies for targeted market segments - usually assigned on project basis.
2. Identify potential opportunities and drivers for targeted segments, involving sustainability aspects.
3. Understand and responds to customer needs regarding to products and service by developing the customer segmentation and customer value analysis.
4. Maintain customer lists, report on distributors and develop good business understanding for targeted market segments.
5. Conduct market studies and research to support market analysis and make recommendations for strategic options.
6. Conduct cost structure benchmarking versus key competitors, and propose the feasible cost reduction proposal.
7. Coordinate with KAM and local production to achieve sales growth with global key accounts.
8. Provide LBC input to WACKER-ACADEMY and assist LBC’s membership in participating industry associations (individual tasks)


REQUIRED QUALIFICATION/必备条件(education, language, expertise, functional competencies)

a. College degree, preferably in marketing or business-related field.
b. Sound understanding for technical products serving the business to business market
c. External communication is in Chinese, corporate internal communication is in English. Basic German knowledge is helpful.
d. Excellent communication skills and pleasure in working in teams.
e. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
f. Good computer skills, mainly Excel and Power Point.
