1. Job Function

With the guidance for WXQCSH procedure and quality system, implement the selection of suppliers, business negotiation, contract finalization for the new components development of new projects. Meanwhile build the supply chain system according to product line business.

2. Duties and Areas of Responsibilities

1) Support the business goals and objectives as the core member of Product Team/Project Team.

2) Assure qualified purchasing activities timely to meet the Product/Project needs.

3) Actively participate in the development of project business case for cost estimation down to the component level.

4) Manage purchased part timing from QRF, technical review, quote, negotiation, to APQP tasks kickoff, provide timely communications to the Product/project team.

5) Work with PE and SQE together to develop sourcing strategy, negotiation strategy and alternative solutions for all purchased material.

6) Monitor, track and report the pricing, timing, and quality for all new and existing components required by Product Line.

7) Support initiation and implementation of Product Line MCIP target, drive continuous cost improvement

8) Find and develop new technologies, new material, new suppliers to product line.

9) Carry out supplier selection, contract negotiation and kick off according to project plan.

10) Transfer production plan to SCM- purchasing group during SOP phase.

11) Ensure compliance to internal purchasing procedure.

3. Minimum Requirement of Incumbent

1） Education and Working Experience

n Education：Bachelor degree, major in Engineering or business.

n Working：At least 3+ years working experience, global automotive company experience is preferred

2） Special Knowledge& skills

n Hard Skills: Familiar with the practice of manufacturing company, knowledge of manufacturing cost structure,

n Soft Skills:

Good spoken English skill, good data analysis skill, always make sure to behave in professional manners. Good communication skill and negotiation skill, willing to take challenging to deal with different people and different situations; good team players, working hard, accountability and integrity.
