Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure accounting policies, procedures and practices in all BGASIA units are implemented consistent with group and statutory requirement;
• Support monthly closing, forecast, budget and FPlan of BGASIA units;
• Provide standardized financial reports designed to cover the needs of BGASIA;
• Ensure consistent and timely data for further analysis and establishment of monthly comments;
• Manage accounting team of BGASIA Shanghai office in compliance with Group accounting & reporting Manual and local legal requirements (tax, company laws, audit)
• Assistance in analysis of KPI of BGASIA units, identify areas for improvement versus budget/forecast and develop action plans with operating units;
• Contribute to the optimization of working capital and cash flow in cooperation with plant controllers;
• Optimize tax and finance cost in co-operation with group tax and external consultancy;
• Manage cash pool, interest and currency risks in co-ordination with BGASIA CFA ;
• Establish and maintain company files containing external and internal documents;
• Contribute to continuous improvement through exploiting further rationalization opportunities for administration also by defining and deployment of the best practices work methodologies;
• Develop the company culture and the management approach by supporting and sharing the Autoneum values;
• All other duties assigned by the superior.

Main Qualifications:

• With at least 5 years’ relevant finance controlling experience, preferably with regional responsibilities
• Sound working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and taxation issues
• Ability to function in a multi-cultural matrix reporting structure
• Strong Financial Management and Analytical Skills with an eye for details
• Proficiency in MS-Excel is critical & knowledge of other MS Office and accounting products is desirable
• Experience in Audit Firm preferred
• Basic knowledge of accounting practices of the major countries in Asia would be helpful
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. Extremely self-motivated
• Must be articulate in spoken & written English
• Must have a high degree of comfort working, dealing and negotiating with middle & senior management, both Chinese and foreign

As the headquarter of Autoneum’s Business Group Asia, Autoneum China not only manages the operations in China, but also support the businesses of other plants in Asia. Autoneum China was founded in 2007 and is located in the west north of Shanghai. It has a Development Center and an Acoustic Lab, so can offer better service for the project development for the customers in China and other areas of Asia. At moment, Autoneum have three wholly owned plants in Chongqing, Taicang and Shenyang, as well as two JVs in Guangzhou and Tianjin.
