PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Assist the Head to formulate plans and strategies for new fund initiatives in China as well as networking and lobbying with relevant authorities and business intelligence. To support all investment and fund management activities as required.

· Structuring new funds and all operational matters to ensure the successful set-up of the funds (RMB and off-shore funds)

· Involve directly in investment evaluation and asset management of asset portfolios of the funds

· Prepare fund reports and other fund-related documentation to investors on quarterly basis and as and when may be necessary

· Coordinating meetings with other departments and investors.

· Driving and managing real estate acquisitions and divestments (due diligence, Investment and asset management proposals)

· Assist in other ad hoc assignments including due diligence in relation to acquisition or divestments

· Project manage funds managements responsibilities and guide junior levels in supporting the responsibilities

Education

· Candidates should have Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Investment or relevant discipline, preferably with MBA/CFA

Job related experience

• Minimum 8 years of relevant real estate investment experience
• Past experience in leading and managing a team

Knowledge

• Knowledge of Finance and Real Estate
• Working knowledge of computers and PC software

Skills

• Organizes and with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
• Analytical, resourceful, able to handle mass data and handy with Microsoft office tools
• Ability to work comfortably with and assist a wide range of individuals in variety of situations and be an effective team-player
• Excellent written and oral skills both in English and Mandarin
