TMO is currently looking for a project manager having very good communication skills who is fluent in English/Chinese and can communicate with its customers and his/her team.The right candidate should be able to ensure a successful project delivery to our customer within pre-agreed time frames while keeping a great team atmosphere.

Required skills for this position:
IT Engineering/Developer Background
The project manager should have a background as developer/programmer who is not frightened to look into the source code(mainly PHP/Java)and debug with the developers when necessary.Experience with e-commerce solutions would be a plus.
The right candidate needs to understand the technical implications & project requirements,be able to estimate a rough time frame and propose an implementation solution to the customer.The project manager therefore needs to be able to analyze and separate a project independently into smaller steps and milestones which then need to be assigned and followed upon with his team.
Customer Relationship
The project manager should aim to always deliver the best quality product to our customer within a pre-agreed time frame.For any issues/delays etc. the project manager will be the first person the customer will talk to,and he/she should be the first person to call the customer and explain irregularities.
The project manager is not only a project executor but a guide for the customer,understanding their wishes and requirements,finding technical viable solutions or proposing alternative solutions while always ensuring that the result is in the best interest of both the customer and TMO.
Working environment
Project managers will report in a cross-funtional structure to our Project Director and Director of Technology for internal training and project follow-up.Frequent meetings are established between project managers,the project director and business developers to share knowledge among project teams.
All our development team is under supervision of our Director of Technology to answer technical issues and provide ongoing training.Frequent meetings are established between project managers and the technical team in order to report technical issues and discuss future improvements of team skills.
Responsibilities
Guiding and managing the technical team during the development of the project and final validation process.
Managing the whole process of e-commerce projects from business requirements to launch and user acceptance test by the customer.
Creating and editing customer documents such as functional specifications for customers,high level technical specifications for developers,user acceptance plan.
Committed to programming and testing standards,accuracy and creativity in finding efficient solutions to given requirements.
Taking ownership for the quality of the projects,managing the quality assurance team and validating the delivery of the project
Communication with customer including kick-off meeting,business requirements,specifications validation,follow-up meetings during projects,user acceptance validation and support.
Requirements:
At least 3-5 years experience in Object Oriented PHP/Java programming
Experience in managing people
Experience in JavaScript,HTML/CSS,Ajax and optimizing MySQL
Dedication to delivering projects within deadlines while adhering to established quality and documentation standards
A good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good spoken English is a requirement.Chinese is a plus.
