Job title:
Business Development and Trading Officer
Company profile:
The Company is one of the leading organizations primarily specialized in the field of laryngectomee / tracheostomy and the treatment and care requirements associated with these indications. Products and services are also provided in the fields of enteral nutrition, enterostoma, wound care management, incontinence care, rehabilitation products and medical technology.
Objective of the Position:
Extend the existing business and develop new business segments in P.R. China. Provide pro-active support service to distribution partners, medical professional and patients. Market assessment for strategic partnerships and license products (import & export). Extend 3rd party export business of existing medical device product range and develop new product lines.
Tasks:
Business Development:
* Support, coordinate and expand current sales and marketing infrastructure in P.R. China.
* Pro-actively support existing distribution partners.
* Provide product management support. Prepare marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, product presentation & training, DVD’s and website coordination.
* Plan and attend exhibitions and symposia in close cooperation with distribution partners.
* Coordinate product registration, trademark and patent activities.
* Prepare, implement and control annual sales and marketing budget / business plan.
* Identify new business segments and develop business plans for potential new business segments.
Trading / 3rd Party Export:
* Establish and extend 3rd party export business of medical devices.
* Identification of customers and partners.
* Prepare and update company product information system (e.g. website, Alibaba, Made in China)
* Prepare and maintain product catalogues (print and web).
* Responsibility for customer and sales service (inquiries, quotation, price lists and orders).
* Participate in exhibitions and trade shows.
* Identify new product lines in close cooperation with sourcing department. Liaise with current and new manufacturers / suppliers.
Requirements / Qualification:
* University degree in Science, Medicine or Business Administration.
* Minimum 5 years working experience in managerial position in Business Development / Sales & Marketing in Medical Device Industry.
* Expertise in Chinese Medical Device Market
* Familiar with medical device regulations and product standards.
* Fluent in Chinese and English language. German language knowledge of advantage.
* Self driven, pro-active and highly motivated individual.
* Proven track record.
