KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/主要职责 ( include EHSS responsibilities)

Channel development:

1. Develop and maintain overview of China chemical distribution market.

2. Be responsible for WGC chemical distribution channel development

3. Assist BT/BU/Division in defining/updating market segment channel strategies, and develop regional distribution strategies by market segment

4. Evaluate and maintain the understanding of the competitors’ channels

5. Survey, seek and propose new distribution channels according to the business needs

6. Propose appropriate channel partners, select them together with the BT/BU/Division, drive the contract work and legal affairs in setting them up

7. Drive global channel concepts and adapt them to the regional level

8. Shape global Channel management concepts by providing input from a regional level



Distribution management:

1. Monitor actively the regional distributor reporting, drive performance reviews (in cooperation with BT/BU/Division), assess distributors, and monitor logistical performance, etc…

2. Facilitate potential conflict resolutions together with BT

3. Monitor and help customer’s transfer etc…

4. Lead the distributors’ commission handling process

5. Drive the internal alignment of distribution channels (across BT/BU/Division)

6. Development and implement key distribution partner strategy



REQUIRED QUALIFICATION/必备条件(education, language, expertise, functional competencies)



1. Degree in chemical field and/or business administration preferred

2. Broad experience in the chemical industry

3. Solid experience in managing distributors/agents or business management in the distribution company

4. Team-oriented with strong leadership ability; ability to influence without authority

5. Strong communication skills and strong drive to move through the matrix

6. Highly motivated individual and high degree of self-reliance and initiative

7. Fluent in English and Mandarin.
