The main and routine tasks of the Junior Programmer may include:

• Research and implement character simulation, game logic, and artificial intelligence for consoles.
• Develop the gameplay features of different types of games, and monitor one's own code to improve the player's comfort.
• Simulate various AI behaviors by using different algorithms.
• Build flexible UI framework for the game, which should be agile to support various UI functions with less workload.
• Analyze the design document and work with game designer closely to evolve the gameplay.
• Using prototyping tools to iterate according to the set objective.
• Implement the game logic related code for both client and server engine.
• Develop editor tools for level designer to implement game logic and character behavior.

Requirements:

• Passionate about playing and making games.
• Good knowledge of C++ and object-oriented development. Knowledge on other programming languages such as C#, python is a plus.
• Knowledge on the game server architecture, network, SQL.
• Able to plan and organize task and ensure timely delivery of work.
• Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
• Proactive, inquisitive, efficient and self-directed.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Knowledge of gaming would be an asset.
