A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Sourcing Specialist to join an successful company in Shanghai area. The role will be involved in (but not restricted to):
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Source new suppliers across the different regions
Establishes supplier base in conformance with guidance from Merchandising managers.
Documents performance to factory visit plans
Evaluates current and potential suppliers in coordination with Supplier Quality Teams.
Handles sample checking requests and monitor the related timeline
Develop creative and cost-effective products with new material, functions and designs
Drives the parts and process qualification in coordination with Supplier Quality Teams.
Works with Merchandising Manager to guarantee supply for all portfolios.
Identifies opportunities and implements sourcing actions to achieve efficiencies.
Qualifications and job requirements
University graduate or above in fields of supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing.
Minimum 2 year’s experience in international buying/trading form and experience across multiple product lines.
Spoken & written English is must
Microsoft office software, Word, Excel, etc.
Chinese Nationals
Self starter, proactive and not afraid of a challenge
Frequent travelling to the factories are needed
Fresh graduate with less experience can be considered as Assistant Sourcing Specialist
