A well-known US based company focus on IT industry is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel with a strong desire to apply his/her skills to the fast growing and challenging sales & marketing business in China.

Primary Responsibilities:
？ Providing timely, practical, business-oriented legal advice and developing creative solutions to complex business and intellectual property issues in licensing, marketing and distribution of company products and services.
？ Supporting retail business team on the planning, development, structuring and execution of retail business in China; advising on commercial and real estate matters as well as regulatory issues relating to import, storage and distribution of consumers’ goods, online and physical stores and after-sale services etc.
？ Supporting cloud business team in launch and development of cloud services in China; training, supporting and assisting team in legal document preparation and negotiation for cloud deals.
？ Preparing, revising, reviewing, and negotiating various legal agreements in coordination with business contacts in China and colleagues in the USA and around the world.
？ Advising business contacts on compliance with company legal policies and procedures and providing local support to legal training to business group members on a variety of legal issues.
？ Managing and coordinating with outside counsel to meet the transactional needs of the business.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:
？ J.D. or equivalent degree and excellent academic credentials.
？ 5-8 years’ relevant in-house transactional experience or as a practicing attorney with a top law firm advising multinational clients in this field.
？ Solid experience in intellectual property and retail business required; experience in cloud computing services a plus.
？ Personal and professional attributes required for success in this position include:

？ Demonstrated business savvy with the ability to work successfully with high level business clients and to evaluate and accept appropriate risk-taking to protect shareholder value.

？ Detail- and results-oriented, with outstanding organizational and analytical skills.
