Main tasks
? You look for local alternatives (components and suppliers), while maintaining our high quality standards, and adapt the engineering BOMs accordingly
? You analyze and optimize the production process and are responsible for certain technical parts of the production process, with a focus on reliability and quality
? You give technical support to the production department by designing appropriate toolings/ jigs to solve production problems/ improve efficiency internally and at the subcontractors’ site
? You give technical support to the Quality department by designing appropriate jigs/tools to improve IQC efficiency
? You give technical support to the logistic department by designing appropriate crates/ rotable bins to eliminate transport damage during logistic processes


Skills
? Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably in a mechanical or electrical field
? Work experience as engineer in a production environment
? Excellent written and oral communication in English and Chinese
? Good organizational abilities: structural and analytical thinking, establishing priorities with respect for the deadlines
? Result-driven and hands-on mentality
? Strong problem-solving skills
