Director - Industrial Engineering

Location: Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China (Approx. 80 Office Staff)

Reports to: Founder & CEO

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the IE, Technicians and Pattern Making Team.
• Develop and implement (train workers) company-wide IE methods and standards.
• Re-engineer garment construction for improved efficiency and cost.
• Consult & support manufacturing operations and work-flow processes in analyzing production processes, efficiency and cost.
• Implement and monitor the optimization of production processes, taking into account manufacturing technologies, organizational requirements and working models.
• Collaborate closely with Group Senior Management, coordinating and executing delegated projects.
• Motivate, guide, and facilitate the development of subordinate employees.

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

• Degree in Industrial Engineering (garments) or a similar technical training.
• 10+ years of technical and management experience in Industrial Engineering, including experience at production facilities.
• Strongly skilled in Project Management, Continuous Improvement, Cost Reduction Programs, Work Plans and Process Standardization.
• Strategic thinker with demonstrated problem solving, planning, leadership, facilitation, communication and organization skills.

· Knowledgeable of various sewing production systems; time studies; motion analysis of the operations; SAM Calculation; M/C Layout and Work station layout; Line set up and balancing;

· Strong ability to multi-task while effectively communicating with business partners

• Fluent in English (Written/Spoken)
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
