We are looking for a strong candidate to fill in the Market Analyst role. This role is a critical to help manage and track all inbound and outbound client projects leads. He/she is responsible for qualitative and high level quantitative understanding of the markets in which different clients of the firm operates in and invest to innovate for. The market analysis will act as one of the key interfaces between business development and innovation project execution. He/she will be responsible for supporting company marketing, demand generation and BD efforts. He/she will also work collaboratively on projects and collaborate or guide teams through user and market research to discover, interpret, and communicate insights and opportunities while inspiring and contributing to all phases of the design process. Future career path for this position might fits well with the BD function or project lead function.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Proficiency designing market research surveys
• Strong intuition and relevant experience in grasping strategic picture of market trend, competition, client company’s position and target consumer’s unmet needs
• Sufficient hands-on experience with data analysis
• Ability to quickly get up to speed with the goals and purpose of research initiatives and be proactive about meeting design teams’ needs
• Ability to liaise with research partners and vendors (recruiting, online survey tools etc.)
• Extract intelligent information from data and perform the required analyses on an ad-hoc basis. Provide the results translated into actionable insights for the marketing and business development teams

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of relevant work experience
• Sufficient analytical and quantitative mindset
• Experience in supporting marketing/sales for a client services organization
• Strong multitasking skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work well independently and with a small team
• Personable, opinionated, curious, empathetic
• Passion for design/innovation and marketing
• Fluent in written and oral English
• Strong people skills are fundamenal
• Good project management intuition/skills is a major plus
