CESG is now looking for a Researcher who has a firm understanding of and interest in transport data and sustainability issues. The sustainable transport researcher will be a critical part of the transport program as we look to develop a comprehensive database covering Chinese cities and their experience in the area of Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Air Pollution, Congestion and Traffic Safety. CESG hopes to find a candidate that will be an essential part of the Transport Team as it quickly grows in research scope and capabilities.

Sustainable Transport Researcher Job Description:
-Work to collect transportation data on Chinese cities through official statistics and research reports.
-Identify sustainable transport best practice in China and work to quantify the benefits for sustainability.
-Analyze transportation data and work to expand the CESG database through data input and formation.
-Organize and lead activities of part-time transport researchers.

CESG Requirements for Sustainable Transport Researcher
-Native Chinese speaker, with good English communication skills.
-Master Degree in Transportation (or related work experience)
-Proven capacity to conduct independent research in English and Chinese
-Experience working in a transport organization or transport research group
-Knowledge of MySQL or other Relational Database Management systems is an advantage
-Ability to summarize research in documents, spreadsheets and power point presentation

CESG Position Compensation
-Compensation is negotiable and based on experience
-Annual paid vacation time in addition to National Holidays
