Responsibilities:

1) Collect potential supplier information, organize on-site audit and evaluation, identify suppliers and perform on-site surveys to assess manufacturing and quality processes to determine supplier’s technical and quality control capability.
2) RFQ, price negotiation and sample preparation for new parts.
3) Contract preparation, negotiation and review regularly.
4) Cost reduction negotiation with external supplier daily.
5) Lead-time, MOQ reduction, VMI activities negotiation regularly
6) NPI management: Monitor drawing & BOM releases from engineering to ensure timely transition & planning.
7) Perform gap analysis on supplier capabilities and the needs for improvement to become approved supplier.
8) Identify supplier commercial capabilities, gaps and action plan.
9) Coordinate and provide support on the submission of 1st article (FA) parts with all required documents to meet approval process.

Requirement:
1) Degree holder of Engineering is needed and Mechanical background is preferred.
2) At least 5 years solid procurement experience gained from established companies, with 2 - 3 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment on related purchasing /sourcing or NPI management.
3) Skilled knowledge on electrical/electronic commodity, molding commodity, stamping commodity, cable commodity and connector commodity, Plastics (Not all required. These are focused commodity areas)
4) Good Project Management Skills. Requires analytical ability and experience to problem solve issues such as: technical problems, schedule issues, and cost related issues.
5) Rich knowledge in Sourcing process, TS16949 Quality Assurance System.
6) English capability in both writing and speaking.
7) Good communication and interpersonal skills.
