Responsibility职责:

- Responsible for complex luminaires and light source product architect design and bring in innovative ideas for product development. Directly work on Feasibility stage to make sure the technical solution chosen are appropriate and can fit overall project targets;

- Train and guide the technical function team members to meet the project development timeline, cost and quality requirements;

- Expert of one or several technical fields related to SSL, including: Mechanical, Electronics and control, MCU system, thermal, optical, and so on. Ability to find innovative solution for system targets of cost, schedule, Production cost, technical performance.

- For mechanical technical function, responsible for mechanical design of SSL products, including LED lighting fixtures and lighting sources; Responsible for the mechanical parts design including plastic mold-in parts, metal stamping, extrusion and die-casting; Knowledge of normal finishing process for plastic and metal parts; Understanding of metal-core plastic over-molding, thermal plastic and transparent optical plastic will be a plus;

- For electronic and control technical function, responsible for electronic topology and driver IC solution selection, including CC, CV, isolated and non-isolated driver types. Good understanding of electronics component type selection, design for manufacturing, design to cost, knowledge of conformity and certification. Direct development experience on MCU control system and RF remote communication system is a strong plus;

- Responsible for general LED light products development/cost down, need ability to review detail technical issue and work with supplier for most efficient and cost effective solution;

- Monitoring the product introduction through EPP, PP and Mass Production. Work with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing group to solve technical related process issues.

- Benchmark new mechanical solutions from competition and suppliers;

Qualifications /Requirement:

- Major in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, college or above degree. Good understanding in at least one of the technical fields of Mechanical, Electrical, Thermal, Optical or Control System;

-8 years’ experience or more in LED lighting product design, directly product development experience and good system knowledge, Preferred with team management or project management experience;

-English reading & writing is a must; preferred with good English speaking;

-Proactive and team spirit;
