Sandvik Mining in Shanghai Jiading is seeking for

Production Supervisor

Sandvik Mining, a leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service and

technical solutions for the mining industry. The offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling. In 2012 sales amounted to about 37,800 MSEK, with approximately 14,000 employees.

The position would directly report to: Production Manager.

Below please refer to the job description:

Key Performance Area:

·Take responsibility of the daily surveillance for compliance of EHS operation in respective area.

·Oversee the employee to perform correct waste classification, collection and storage.

·Oversee department employee wearing PPE properly, responsible for first aid kit management in respective area.

·Guide team to achieve safety target, identify and eliminate safety risk in production line.

·Responsible for accomplish the line production goal in line with our company objective.

·Strictly follow manufacturing and quality process to ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer’s requirements.

·Provide sufficient training to operators about quality process, EHS and company regulations and make sure every operator follow them.

·Have the defects documented and fixed, working with sourcing and quality people to find out root cause of quality issues, continuously improve manufacturing processes and quality system and eliminate the problem in the future.

·Make the effort to increase the productivity by improving product and processes.

·Establish a program to get employees to exert their maximum levels of productivity and creativity through the work force.

·Work with production engineering department to make sure proper testing is done on the components being tested.

·Be able to conduct internal/external QEHS audit and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.

·Make sure the special position operators and special equipment are under good control.

·Establish and maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment.

Your profile:

·Bachelor degree in Engineering.

·At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field in in the machinery manufacture industry.

·Master Black Belt Certification and experience leading Lean and/or Six Sigma process improvement projects with demonstrated results.

·Strong analytical skills and understanding of problem solving techniques /tools.

·Self-driven to complete projects to meet the target.

·Strong coaching, influencing skills.

·Strong change management skills.

·Excellent communication skills, oral and written (English).
