Job Description:
？ RF Engineer will be responsible in analyzing and reporting RF performance, using network statistics and /or drive test data to assess network performance to support projects
？ The UMTS RF Optimization Engineer will be required to work within a team of RF engineers and independently to perform RF network optimization activities
？ Radio Network Planning and Optimization of UMTS network to trouble shoot and improve KPIs
？ Analysis of KPIs, investigation and improvement of network quality problems
？ Implementation of new features and tuning radio network parameters
？ Analysis of neighbor relations and implementation of corrections
Required Competencies and Skills:
？ A minimum of 3 year working experience in RF Planning & Optimization for UMTS
？ Solid knowledge of Basic Radio procedures in UMTS technologies
？ Excellent knowledge of 2G/3G standard KPI’s, practical experience in creating and analysis of statistical KPI reporting
？ Working knowledge of HW RAN Feature
？ Strong problem solving and analytic skills
？ Capable of working independently and leading performance related investigations
？ Knowledge and practice of planning and optimization processes
？ Strong MS Excel skills (esp. Pivot tables, macros, etc)
？ Knowledge and practice of RF planning tool and DT measurement tools (esp. Probe, Mapinfo, google earth, etc)
？ Excellent Communication skills
