Ecommerce System Administrator Specialist

The successful candidate will be located in Shanghai and will be working with the Toronto team. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day technical operations for our Canadian busy retail client’s Applications and Systems. The candidate will be responsible for hands-on 24 x 7 technical operations support and problem resolution in order to meet Service Level Agreements.

Primary Responsibilities:主要职责

？ Identify and prevent technical issues to maintain performance and availability on behalf of our eCommerce/Retail client systems in Canada
？ Analyze the root cause of all incidents, implement permanent fixes and produce necessary documentation
？ Manage critical fixes and help architect industry-leading technical solutions
？ Provide up-front technical guidance for capacity planning, reporting, and software maintenance planning
？ Proactively identify inefficiencies and develop automated processes to improve resource productivity
？ Participate in the planning and execution of all change management activities and application release cycles through testing and production environments
？ Participate in performance testing and tuning exercises

Education:教育背景

Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience

？ Minimum 5 years experience working directly with enterprise-level eCommerce applications
？ Experience managing large J2EE/Java EE applications and middleware, including WebSphere Application Server, Websphere Commerce, Search Indexing based applications, and large volume ETL data processing
？ Exceptional problem determination and troubleshooting skills
？ Comfortable working under the pressures of a rapidly changing, technically complex environment
？ Ability to communicate effectively with clients, and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
？ Experience supporting n-tier server environments, including AIX and Linux
？ Experience working with enterprise-level databases, including DB2 and Oracle
？ Hands-on experience, analyzing performance data including system logs and application dumps
？ Hands-on experience with diagnosing JVM performance and tuning
？ Hands-on experience with build tools including Ant, Hudson, Maven
？ Knowledge of best practices related to security, performance, and disaster recovery
？ Knowledge of best practices related to release management and software configuration management
？ Strong in scripting
？ Energetic, motivated and decisive individual
