- From our Corporate Communications, Siemens are looking to recruit a Communications Specialist. Report to Senior Manager of SLC CC Shanghai Hub. Daily work assignments arranged by Hub manager and aligned with CC Channel Team
Communication/ work partners include:
- Members of SLC CC all team members
- Members of SLC communications colleagues and those of Operating Companies
- External suppliers / agencies for media/ PR, design, printing, (press) events etc.

What are my responsibilities?
1. As member of the CC team, clearly understand the Siemens Corporate strategy, business development plan, SLC CC’s strategy and communications plan, communication policies and guidelines.
2.Lead the overall corporate communications works in Jiangsu/Anhui/Zhejiang
3.Leading role for Hub imitated major events/exhibitions (planning, implementation, budgeting, measurement and reporting).
4.Plan, coordinate and organize CorCit projects in the Shanghai Hub region through close collaboration with the CorCit team.
5.Support Channel team to plan, coordinate and implement communication projects in the Hub
6.Support other Shanghai hub communications projects in need

What do I need to qualify for this job?
1.3-5 years of relevant working experience
2.Prior work experience in foreign invested company
3.Working experience PR agency, especially international one, and leading media is strongly preferred
4.Prior experience in all fields of corporate communications preferred including media and PR, internal communications, publications, advertising and events.
5.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English, excellent messaging skills.
6.Fluency with standard business software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
7.A team player with good interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills;
8.Thorough understanding/experience of event/exhibition management.

What else do I need to know?
- Shanghai Hub, covering the southern area of the Yangtze River, is a focal point of the Siemens business in China. SLC CC Shanghai Hub is responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of the corporate communications activities in the region.
- Corporate events and exhibitions are important levers in the Shanghai Hub to support creating a positive brand image and contributing to the business development. Functionally, the communications specialist will be responsible to work together with SLC CC Brand and Channel Center on major events/exhibitions planning/coordination/implementation in the hub region. The candidate also needs to work closely with the CorCit team from Beijing to coordinate the regional CorCitprojects.
- Furthermore, the communications specialist will have “key account responsibility” for designated provinces (Jiangsu, Anhui and Zhejiang) and act as chief contact for the Provincial General Manager in all aspects of communications projects (media relations, event management, employee communications, CorCit activities, etc) in these provinces.
- The candidate shall also provide support to other regional communications activities.

- 企业传播活动和展会是华南传播中心支持公司品牌形象推广的重要渠道之一。职能上，该传播专员负责和企业传播渠道中心对接，支持大型活动在华南地区的规划、协调和执行。同时，该专员也负责和企业社会责任小组对接，协调地区的企业社会责任活动。
- 此外，该传播专员将与地区总经理对接全权负责企业传播在江苏、安徽和浙江地区的工作，包括媒体关系、活动管理、员工内部沟通、企业社会责任活动等。
- 该传播专员还将在必要的时候对地区的其它传播活动给与支持。
