Sales Manager

Function Description:

Responsible for planning and managing all sales activities within HFM, Defines the sales plan and commercial strategy. Responsible for achievement of both quantitative and qualitative sales objectives. Develops relationships with new and existing customers. Take part in negotiations of major contracts, developing personal contacts with major clients. Manages and trains regional manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the overall sales operation with a strong focus on developing local customers, growing the sales revenue and formulating the strategic sales plans.

2. Also needs to actively direct the activities of the sales team and work closely with them to develop solid sales turnover and marketing position.

3. Understanding fast changing market needs and the ability to report, transfer market needs and tendencies in a fast developing environment to MD in order to prepare strategic decisions

4. Leading, defining and driving the Company’s sales growth by defining and executing the strategic and tactical plan for China.

5. Establishing a positive market image for the Company as the leading snack and biscuit machine manufacturer

6. Developing and strengthening the sales team, providing monitoring and coaching to the sales team as appropriate.

7. Formulating and implementing both internal and external communication system with company staff and external customers to ensure organization is focused on customer needs.

8. Creating sales budgets and controlling of turnover and sales expense according to the cost center-sales in china.

9. Executing on the tailor-made/project sales, especially on the process and providing solutions to customers.

10. Manage with related department to ensure efficient service to customers.

11. Manage and trains regional manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

University Graduate with Bachelor Degree in Machinery or food sciences and related

Minimum 8-10 years work experience of which 5 years in a senior position in a multinational manufacturing environment in China.

CET-4 or above with fluent oral and written English and Chinese ability

Excellent manager and team leader

Good interpersonal, communication, and Microsoft office skills

Well-versed in foreign ERP system and concepts. SAP is advantageous.

Dynamic, self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility and communication skills.
