Responsibilities

Properly understand all tech. requirement on product sourced for various clients and convert those requirements into drawing/spec. in order for sourcing engineer to source initial supplier;
Evaluate the feasibility of manufacturing process, cost structure of target product;
Work together with sourcing engineer to select and evaluate candidate of supplier by assessing production capacity and tech. capability;
On site audit of target supplier’s personnel, technical & equipment availability and its competence;
Develop the ultimate tech. specification of target product for implementation in operation;
Daily track project and report project leader with progress during sample development;
Tooling intended for mass production confirmation and validation;
Ensure inspected-sample validated readily for customer’s confirmation;
Verify and rate all likely up-front cost/investment on supplier and product development;
Troubleshooting, failure analysis and corrective action and improvement follow-up from sampling to production;
Provide other function with technical support as needed;
Develop pre-qualified supplier data base for efficient product and supplier development;
Environment
Act according to the ESK ISO14000 Environment Management System Request.
Exert management and control on involved interested parties.

Requirements

Bachelor degree majored in Electrical or Automation control.
Minimum 3 years work experience as Electrical engineer, preferably in new energy industry, such as wind power, solar etc.
Process or design experience is a plus.
Experience in developing, fabricating tooling is preferred.
Familiar with manufacturing process.
Basic cost analysis capability;
Have quality consciousness and basic quality control knowledge;
Ability to handle project from sample to mass production independently;
Good in engineering application software like UG, ProE or AutoCAD.
PC skills of MS-Office are a must.
Able to communicate in both oral and written English.
Self motivator, willing to explore into new areas.
Open-mind, team work, hard working;
Able to travel in China and can work under pressure;
