职位描述

Requirements:

1. Management of the HQ Accounting Including review and approval of all work performed by subordinates.
2. Perform detailed analysis of the financial statements of BUs in the region.
3. Take ownership for ensuring the completeness, existence and accuracy, presentation and disclosure and overall quality of financial reporting of within GMIO region and proper internal control over financial reporting.
4. Support Country of sales reporting and adjustments between Corporate and BUs and provide guidance, as needed to FP&A team members.
5. Review BU’s reconciliations and key processes and provide analysis/presentation for control improvement
6. Travel, as needed, to major BU sites in the region to understand the business and resolve accounting and reporting issues.
7. Support the preparation of the 10-Q and 10-K financial reports through coordinating the review and submission of SEC reporting requirements for GMIO region.
8. Support GMIO Senior Manager in setting strategy for the function, including how to identify and implement the best practice for GMIO regional accounting and reporting process.

Qualifications:

Knowledge:
- Proficient in US GAAP and knowledge in IFRS
- Be able to perform quality financial statement analysis, including balance sheet, income statement and cash flows.
- Be able to prepare consolidated financial statements, with proficient knowledge of gross profit and intercompany eliminations, cost and equity accounting, and minority interest accounting.
- Knowledge of internal control over financial reporting under SOX principles.
- Knowledge of IFRS and PRC (Chinese) accounting standards.
- Understanding of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) system functionality.
- General understanding and knowledge of multinational companies operating structure, legal, control and accounting and financial reporting environment

- Detail oriented, hands on accounting skills to assist the review and approval of accounting for GMIO HQ and joint ventures (JVs) as well as appropriate coaching of staff.
- Comprehend, interpret and present to others the financial results, variance analysis of financial information
- Proficient in performing timely account reconciliations.
- Address issues by identifying appropriate alternatives for timely resolution, and identify issues that require escalation.
- Ability to manage through influence as well as through direct reporting relationships.
- Interpret and operationalize applicable accounting policies and procedures.
- Prepare written communications in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrates qualities (e.g., ethics, integrity, expertise) that establish credibility with all internal and external constituents.
- Manage the process of planning and organizing resources (e.g., people, funds) appropriately to accomplish desired goals.
- Plan, assign, and supervise the work of direct reports.

Experience/Education:
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years experience in a Big 4 accounting firm with audit experience of public listed companies.
- Experience in audit of US public listed companies is advantageous.
Education and/or Certifications
- Bachelors/Masters degree
- CPA / CICA required (US CPA preferred)
- Big 4 training required.
