职位描述
Areas of Responsibility:
Provide technical and operational support for GM China Paint Operations
Mature the SGM, SGMW and FAW-GM Paint Functional Councils and integration GMIO and Global Paint Councils
Support due diligence analysis and development of business cases for future business ventures in GM China
Co-Direct/Support GM China Paint Operations in terms of approval process, staffing, planning, and execution of major projects and vehicle programs
Co-lead continuous improvement process to improve shop efficiency using Best Practices from the region and from Global sharing
Support development of Regional and Global Peer Review process
Support development of the Global Architectural Development Teams (ADT's) in China for Paint
Support all vehicle programs in region with Paint Shop manpower, problem solving, and launch support as required
Co-lead the Manufacturing Requirements Process and Process Driven Product Design activities for China ME Paint for all new vehicle programs
Develop and implement common Paint processes and tooling throughout the VDP in line with the GM Global processes and BOE/GTS. Drive effective GMIO process standards into Global Center to become GM Global Processes/BOE
Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
Knowledge:
Thorough knowledge of Paint shop BOP/BOE/GTR/Lean manufacturing & flexibility enablers/measurable
Paint shop layout & process development
Production Launch Experience
Strong Project Management Skills & Methodology competency (Business Process, Eng. Process & Deliverables) for all Project or Program phases (pre-DSI - SOP)
Cross functional experience, e.g. Task Forces, Problem Solving Teams, etc
GMS implementation experience
Prefer to have:
Rich knowledge of on-site problem solving & process improvement;
Deep knowledge of new material validation;
Knowledge of GVDP and manufacturing deliverables
GM BOP/BOE/GTR/GMS
Commercial vehicle paint experience
Paint material knowledge and experience
Skills/ Competencies:
Fluent in English & Mandarin
Strong management skill with the ability to work effectively with multi-cultures
Highly motivated with ability to work in a non- structured organization
High level of skill to work independently and confidence in decision making.
Strong oral and written communication abilities
Proficiency in both complex project management and technical skills.
Ability to organize and plan effectively
Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills and ability to coach / mentor others to enhance skill set across GM China Operations
Ability to prioritize work and take initiative with limited direction from supervisor.
High level of organizational skills - ability to multi-task and handle job diversity
Strong presentation skills (management presentations, reports, negotiations)
Computer skills including competency in PC based office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project), AutoCAD, and any other relevant software
Prefer to have:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in Joint Venture environments
Experience/Education:
Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemistry)
5+ years in Paint
Production Launch Experience
Cross functional experience, e.g. Task Forces, Problem Solving Teams, etc
GMS implementation experience
Prefer to have:
· 8 + years in Paint ME
· New product development experience
· Experience of working in JV or multi-culture company
WB & 3-wet launch experience
