Management Consultant (Consumer Business & Retail)
Level: Business Analyst / Consultant / Senior Consultant / Manager / Senior Manager
Job Description:
To provide professional management consulting services to global and local clients and help them to achieve business objectives. Individual long-term competences will be developed gradually based on client needs and personal capability and adaption in minimum one or more of the following focused consulting areas:
- Corporate Strategy
- Business Strategy
- IT-enabled Business Strategy / Innovation
- O2O Alignment / Integration
- Customer Strategy
- Consumer Insights, Behavior-based Segmentation, Loyalty Programs, etc.
- Market / Marketing Strategy and Planning
- Go-to-Market Planning and Design
- Channel / Distribution Planning
- Category Management
- Merchandising
- Retail Management
- Sales Management
- Key Account Management, Sales Force Management, Distributor Management
- Market Entry / Reposition
- Financial Modeling / Valuation
For Manager Level and above, solid experience in at least TWO of the above areas is required.
For Senior Consultant Level, solid experience in at least ONE of the above areas plus strong analytical skills is required
For BA/C levels, required tasks will be followings but not limited to:
- Data gathering & analysis
- Business requirement identification
- Business process diagnose and mapping
- Professional documentation/presentation
- Market and bench-marking research, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above. MBA degree is a plus
- Excellent presentation skill, communication skill and people skill
- Strong analytical skill and problems-solving skill
- Familiar with MS office tools
- Fundamental knowledge of Finance and Accounting
- Experiences in other consulting firms or leading consumer product companies is preferred
- Positive attitude with strong motivation to work as a professional consultant, equipped with result-driven and client oriented mind set
- Good team player
- Excellent Mandarin in reading, writing and speaking
- Fluent in English OR Japanese in both writing and speaking
- Willing to accept frequent and long-term travel
