SCOPE
Manage marketing campaigns and drive profitable sales in the promising Chinese market.
KEY INTERFACES
- CEO of Toradex China
- FAEs of Toradex China
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales
- Together with the CEO, develop and set sales objectives
- Develop action plans for the realization of set objectives and ensure execution thereof
- Actively search for new potential customers and initiate contact
- Conduct sales meetings at the organization’s office as well as at the customer’s site
- Handle demand planning, oversee inventory, supervise supply chain and logistics
- Together with FAEs, invest on customer retention
Marketing
- Place and market products in the local market
- Improve local brand awareness
- Conduct market research and understand recent market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
- Evaluate and develop new and existing local marketing channels such as print, online and trade shows
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing and sales in the B2B electronics industry in China
- Excellent communication skills (in writing and speaking) in English and Mandarin
- Mastery of key account tools (customer mapping, customer P&L, multi-level selling, account development plans etc.)
- Project management skills, ability to systematically plan and execute successfully
- Knowledge of one or more relevant customer product segments (automotive, aerospace, military, transportation & logistics, test & measurement, telecom, industrial automation)
- Open-minded, self-motivated, communicative and a team player with high integrity
- Thrives in a SME (small and medium enterprise) environment, used to doing work him/herself, not just a delegator
Preferred
- Work experience in the embedded industry
- Exposure to or work experience with western multinational companies
- Proven track record in business development and developing new markets
- Knowledge of CRM tools
