Tasks Description
Position purpose
Application Development for Auto Refinish Coatings, Commercial Vehicle Coatings and General Industrial Coatings
Major tasks and responsibilities
-Establish complete technical expertise in Auto Refinish Coating, Commercial Vehicle Coating and General Industrial Coating applications in all technologies Bayer provides to this market.
-Define targets of R&D projects and participate in regional R&D projects together with AD manager APAC.
-Implement the application development including formulating, prepare coatings, performance testing, etc.
- Provide technical training to customers (internal/ external) to allow business continuity and succession
- Provide first class technical service during customers visits to R&D center and in case visiting the customer site.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for project, customer activities and conferences.
- Communicate with internal and external customers, act as technical face to the customer for the BMS CAS customers in the related coatings segment.
Requirements Description
Qualifications
- B.S or Master in chemistry or chemical engineering with 3-5 years of experience in the field of coatings application / formulation, especially for auto refinish coating, commercial vehicle coating and general industrial coating
- High self-motivation, initiative and like technical work
- Customer-oriented and sound presentation skill
- Good oral and written communication skills in Chinese and English
- Willing to take on added responsibility and meet the requirements on deadline
