Strategic Planning – P.M.O Plan Execution
? Responsible for the execution on P.M.O process within assigned market to maximize its development opportunities for the next 5 years
? Acts as the subject matter expert in the field with regards to the planning process, methodologies and toolkits, development terminologies, volume estimation methodologies and toolkits etc. owns the planning result of effective pipelines and EVA, etc; ensures quality control standards in the execution of the work.
? Establishes yearly mapping plan based on the city macro data, development trend, main roads and Mini-Market prioritization, store performance, etc to support formulating the 3-1-Q vision plan in the market.
? Leads the Market Quest in the field. Reviews and ensures the quality of the field planning team outcome of the potential pipelines, sales estimation, etc. validates quality of field mapping/market quest/site packages to ensure the package information be completed, update and accurate.
? Owns the field database, is accountable for the accuracy of demographic/market data/existing Mcd’s store, 10% pipeline data; be responsible for codifying all data/information collected in the centralized system
? Introduces brand extension opportunities in the new and existing sites to optimize sales potential as appropriate and aligned with company’s business plan.
? Assesses market trend and market potential and make recommendations on closing, relocation, reinvestment/reimage of existing restaurants.
Analytics
? Collects and analyze the Trade Area related data that highlights opportunities and threats to the field based on current information.
? Routinely reviews the newly opened restaurants, get learning from success or failure to help improve the quality of future planning and sales estimation accuracy.
? Manages the local research and analysis projects which facilitate the sales estimation accuracy, i.e. pre-opening customer survey, TAS, or any other specific projects that required by headquarter planning function
? Shares findings & key learnings to field team to facilitate the planning in the field
? Centre of Excellence for field development market intelligence
Strategic Planning Team Management
? Leads market planning team, ensures all the team member fully understand and execute the national planning process with high quality.
? Establishes working plan with reasonable workload for the team member, tracking and evaluating the performance for team members.
? Provides training on the knowledge and skills of the work; Creates good communication and learning environment.
Planning System & Tools
? Ensures the planning team well understand and 100% use the centralized planning system and tools that provided by National planning team
? Maintains the fact-base planning data in the system, review the accuracy and completeness of the data that collected by the planning team
? Provides full supports in testing and utilizing the centralized system and tools in the field, giving timely feedbacks on issues or suggestions.
