Job Descriptions:

Provide applications/technical support and problem resolution on Conexant modem products for the China market. The main focus of this job is to perform hands-on debugging and resolution of modem product issues. Evaluate and provide input for new products or new revisions of products, interface with customer regarding issues or new features, and provide feedback to Engineering with suggestions and ideas.

Responsibilities:

· Analyze customer reported modem performance issues and telephone line conditions

· Implement firmware changes to debug, tune, and resolve product issues and implement customer firmware features

· Provide detailed problem reports and communication to Engineering team

· Travel to customer sites

Job Requirements:

Firmware design experience with modem products and communication technology is preferred.

· 3-5 years embedded firmware design experience

· Proficient with 6502 assembly (or similar)

· Analog hardware debugging skills

· Good debugging skills

· Independent and self-motivated learner

· Experience in interfacing with customers regarding technical issues

· Telecommunications experience is preferred

· Good written English communication skills
