Job purpose summary


Commercial Executive. Manages a exporters client group to the Asian market, ensuring the maximization of profits and traded products volume. Generates profitable business between Chilean and Chinese clients, developing brand and positioning of Chilean products for exportation to China, capturing new customers and ensuring the satisfaction of both clients, maintaining a constant coordination with the commercial and foreign trade division.


Formal Requirements

  • Minimum education level required:Professional degree in engineering performing in food or commercial area. (Food Engineering, Agronomic engineering, Engineering aquaculture or commercial engineering)
  • Minimum Professional Background:

3 Years of experience in product sales for the category requested.Business connections.

  • Desirable Professional Background:

2 years of experience in foreign trade or similar.

Industry client base developed.

  • Required Knowledge:

Oral and written middle English level, COMEX knowledge, intermediate or advanced Word and Excel handling level and specific knowledge of performance areas.

  • Desirable Knowledge:

Chinese culture and Asian market knowledge, or experiences in exporting to other markets.


Job Environment

  • Internal Customer:

Close relationship with the The FoodLinks Business Executive of origin countries to achieve successful business.

  • External Customer:

Close and cordial relationship with international exporters and Chinese importers.


Job Duties

  1. Maintain current the The FoodLinks service and updated his/her knowledge in the area.
  2. Mediating between supply and demand and facilitating agreements and their compliance.
  3. Maintain positive customer relationships with Chilean and Chinese costumers.
  4. Empowered and accountable for business arrangements with exporters in charge.
  5. Solve operational problems that arise.
  6. Manage and bill involved services.
  7. Assist in the delayed bills collection.
  8. Capture new customers.
  9. Maintain a coordinated effort with the Chinese team to solve the problems that arise.
  10. Keep informed of the business state to the Country Manager and clients.
  11. Participate in exceptional company events.
  12. Check the profitability of the customer portfolio managed.
