Position Summary:
As the Halosource Category Marketing Manager for Drinking Water, you are charged with maximizing growth and profitability through new products, technology and marketing initiatives to realize our corporate objectives for the Drinking Water line of business. This highly challenging position offers an attractive balance between strategic thinking and “hands on” work. You must have an entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a drive to stay ahead of the competition. Your ability to articulate your understanding of critical business issues and the way our products solve for them and add-value will be critical to your success. You enjoy engaging our customers and Sales teams to understand their problems and synthesize this into innovative solutions and the overall HaloSource product strategy. You inspire our internal teams throughout the development process, from insights to concepts to product launch, to create these differentiated solutions. You will also liaise with Marketing and Sales to define the go-to-market strategy and help them understand the target customer, value proposition and market potential. You will work closely with partners, marketing, and cross-functional teams in the global adoption and commercialization of HaloSource products.
Responsibilities:
1. Maximize growth and profitability through new products, technology and marketing initiatives consistent with corporate strategy and objectives.
o Collect and synthesize industry trends, competitor profiles, market feedback, and product sales performance into future business opportunities.
o Develop multi-year product marketing plans, including overall product strategy and roadmap.
2. Lead all Marketing activities in developing new products consistent with the marketing strategy.
o Marketing liaison to Research and Development teams.
o Drive the solution set for the cross-functional development teams through market requirements, the value proposition and the business plan.
o Set high expectations for business performance and ensure the end product meets the requirements of the validated concept.
o Work collaboratively with Marketing Management and Sales to develop global deployment strategies and successfully launch products.
3. Inspire key customers and partners, new prospects, senior management and internal cross-functional teams to realize this vision for growth. Create and conduct presentations that communicate the value proposition of the HaloSource portfolio of products.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this job, you will:

We are looking for candidates with:
· A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Marketing discipline. MBA preferred.
· A minimum of 10+ years progressive experience in marketing and product development, some Business-Business marketing experience preferred.
· Experience in the water industry or similarly regulated industry preferred, especially in India or China markets.
· A track record of developing successful, global consumer-driven solutions, preferably within multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams.
· Demonstrated competency in marketing plan and business case development including consumer insights, segmentation/target/positioning, competitive analysis, marketing objectives & strategies, product roadmaps and financials.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable, clear and effective communicating with partners, customers, senior management and international personnel for whom English is a second language.
· Demonstrated ability to relate to and work across cultural and geographic boundaries.
· Willingness and desire to travel internationally (10% - 15%). Valid passport and capable of obtaining US and international travel visas.
