General Accountability
The Injection Design Engineer participates in the design and development of new Injection product, manufacturing methods, constructions, and materials for lift/Escalator roller or other products. Given specific goals within the project, the engineer researches, investigates and develops principle, methods, techniques and equipment, also need to work in workshop for trouble-shooting to successfully achieve the goals.

Major Responsibilities
1.0 Injection Design Engineering
1.1 Participates in the invention, design, sourcing and development of roller and other Injection prod-uct to achieve the goals of the project.
1.2 Develops roller and other Injection product/mold constructions and specifications to meet customer dimensional, physical and performance requirements. Strives to change the specification and construction of mold/roller and other Injection product to improve in/out-plant processing, or reduce costs without sacrificing product quality.
1.3 Work in conjunction with Roller design Engineer to tests new material and constructions for roller and othe Injection product to improve their quality and performance.
1.4 Develop the injection std. settings/working instruction/control plan and modify the process on time based on equipment, materials, mold and environmental changed by work in workship
1.5 Evaluates R and D samples or production trials to determine the need for permanent specification
changes. Develops specification changes based on receipt of approved final design requests. Has the
authority to approve changes to the manufacturing process for running in production.
1.6 Co-operate to Souring the material and sub-contractors used in the product. Compare the material performance, price and availability to select.
1.7 Using Computer Aided Design (CAD), Inventor and Word, develops computerized files on product performance and specification drawings. Is responsible for the maintenance, control and issuing of these files to quality procedures.
1.8 Maintains and controls data base for the product specifications, bills of materials in LN.
1.9 Designs, reviews, modifies, suggests new or existing mould/tooling, components to meet customer specifications and requirements. Sourcing qualified mold manufacture and design supplier. Provides timely supervision of internal and external mold manufacture process.

2.0 Co-operate with other engineers to develops advanced inspection and test techniques so that they meet Customer (internal and external) specifications or requirements.
2.1 Supplies the technical information such as product information, product recommendations, cross reference charts, molding charts etc in order to assist internal or external customers request.
2.2 Provides information and recommendations on product related problem solving or in plant product manufacturing improvements.
2.3 As requested by the Technical Manager, visits job sites in order to conduct inspections of the unit as it
interacts with the product. Provides recommendations in order to solve problems and submits a CAR re
port to the appropriate personnel. May determine the need to make specification changes as a result of
trouble shooting at the job site.

3.0 Reports
3.1 Submits Bi weekly updates of priorities to Technical Manager for discussion and approval.
3.2 Submits monthly reports electronically to the Technical Manager within 3 working days of month end.
3.3 Maintains all ST charts under his responsibility


Key Attributes
-Bachelor in Engineering or with more practiced experience on injection process
-over 7 years working experience in Polyurethane industry.
-High level of skill required in CAD and Inventor/Solid work
