Supervisor:International Business Director

Description:

The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Define the product strategy and roadmap.

2. Maintain annual and current product production forecasts based on input from sales staff.

3. Review and approve all product changes affecting form, fit or visual appearance.

4. Represent the Customer in product development programs.

5. Review and approve all product literature.

6. Conduct product training seminars with sales and distributor staff.

7. Support sales staff and customers with technical and application information.

8. During product development, oversee prototype and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.

9. Be an expert with respect to the competition.

10.Act as a leader within the company and as “Owner” of his assigned products.

11.Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.

Requirements:

1. Five years in similar position in mechanical or process industries;

2. BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering MBA (desirable);

3. Excellent personal communication skills;

4. Proven eye for detail

5. Occasional domestic and foreign travel in support of project tasks;

6. Computer Skills:Microsoft Word,Microsoft Excel,Microsoft Project
