Job Title:

Supplier Technical Support Manager

Job purpose:

？ Company is rapidly growing and expanding its presence in China. We are currently looking for candidates that have outstanding adaptability, entrepreneurial skills, technical know-how and that are willing to contribute to the Global Sourcing Team and also which can meet with the requirement of new business strategy.

？ Our client had an immediate need for a qualified Technical Support Manager in it China Office, who Implements, Monitors, documents, and ensures that Supplier Quality and technical factor are achieved.


In this position the detail of your responsibilities will be:

？ Manager the regional supplier from the technical point and factor.
？ Lead technical team in participating with global sourcing team to deliver new product design, existing product evolution,
？ Ensure the supplier technical performance consistent with marketing requirements, manufacturability, and schedule and cost planning.
？ To standardize and specialize the technical documents and version of kinds of material.
？ Manage the technical development plan and execution including electromechanical, mechanic, electronics, and calculation & simulation in different physics.
？ Define the product verification and validation plan for each new materiel of kinds of category.
？ Pilot all cost reduction actions, including redesign, component localization related to the materiel.
？ Pilot all the materiel adaptation projects to match the local and global market demand.
？ Lead parts localization and the VAVE project,
？ Involve the tech project management of six sigma related with design modifications, review and push the progress of each project.
？ Lead technical information exchange and project coordination.
？ Assist in the materiel qualification, compile and update the product descriptions, and prepare the samples for the qualification, to improve the technical level and know-how of regional suppliers.




Required Knowledge and Working Experience:

？ At least Master degree in an Engineering/ Mechanical/Electric or quality discipline, PhD degree is preferred.
？ Minimum of 10 years technical support or engineering technical experience with a multinational company in China or Asia
？ Strong technical experience with supplier evaluation, qualification and follow up
？ Own technical experience in Six Sigma Methodology - Black Belt certification is highly preferred
？ Statistical process control, Failure Modes & Effects Analysis, Measurement System Analysis, Corrective & Preventive Action, Root Cause Analysis and Risk Analysis
？ Highly motivated individual who can work independently; detail oriented with excellent follow up skills.
？ Fluency in Mandarin and English language skills a must (written and verbal) - ability to travel internationally
？ Interpersonal skills - exceptional listening, understanding, influencing and communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills with business sense.
