Working for ASOS (Shanghai) Commerce., Ltd you’ll be part of the Buying & Merchandising team reporting to the B&M Manager.

The Role:

Being proactive and demonstrating strong relationship building skills is key. In order to ensure the project is a success you will be expected to provide input and suggest active process improvements. You will provide interpretation and recommendations in order to demonstrate ownership of the entire process.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Merchandise new products, categories and brand pages accordingly

· Maintain onsite visual standards

· Liaise with the buying and merchandising teams to identify key trends & key items and use this information to ensure effective product placement within categories

· Review and feedback on competitor websites, highlighting new products, trends, features and visual aesthetics

· Analyse best seller information to maximise product availability and positioning

· Constant monitoring of on-site product presentation

· Guarantee online feature pages are visually appealing and fit the story behind them

· Support B&M managers with PO management throughout all stages of the B&M process

· Ad hoc troubleshooting and other tasks assigned by managers

What Success Looks Like:

· Excellent relationship management skills

· Be able to work as part of a team but be able to work on your own and make decisions

· Be commercially aware

· Be confident with systems

· Good organisational skills

· Be able to build strong relationships with different areas of the business

· Be able to vary your style based on stakeholder needs

Skills and experience you will need:

· College degree in business, marketing or a related program, preferred.

· 1-2 years of retail buying experience or in a buying support role, preferred.

· Excellent negotiation and marketing skills.

· Strong analytical ability and communication skills required.

· Motivated and self-starter, willing to take on new challenges and learn every aspect of merchandising.

· Able to work as part of a team to achieve common goals.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel (spreadsheets), Word, and data analysis tools.

· Able to travel overnight, as required.

Our head office is located in London (Camden), UK. Therefore, three other locations in UK, Customer Care is based in Hemel Hempstead. Our Warehouse is based in Barnsley. And, we have a Technology hub based in Birmingham's revolutionary arts and media quarter.
