Job Description
?Involve in initial project development together with sales and marketing, if necessary, communicate with customers for the technical requirements and fill Mersen Technical Questionnaire.
?Take the specifications, drawings, circuit diagram and 3D models from customers, and instructions from his/her team leader into careful account, make the initial cost evaluation based on the product cost evaluation model.
?Investigate the best appropriate technical solutions able to meet the requirements in the best conditions (technical, economical, thermal ...) in the cost evaluation. If necessary, consult or discuss with team leader again for the specifications.
?Analyze the particular specifications required by customers, and the application environment, make the cost and processing feasibility study for integration of the new product design.
?Necessary illustration of the configuration to the design engineer for the process or particular concerns.
?Cost evaluation based on the most appropriate technical solutions to the team leader for approval.
?Involve in the 3D model design with design engineers if necessary.
?Carry out and finalize the modifications. Fill up any necessary documents properly
?Take any disposal to meet the target which have been discussed and decided with his leader.

Requirements:
?Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years’ application experience of sheet metal process or sheet metal design. A good knowledge in power electronics products and laminated bus bar design would be an added advantage.
?PC based CAD/CAE experience, familiar with SolidEdge or SolidWorks, good at AutoCAD.
?Good verbal & written communication skills in English & Chinese. French language skills are additional merit.

?Experienced in the cost evaluation of bus bar products and quotation will be an added advantage
