Objectives

Secure supply to customers (finish products) and factory without line stop (raw material, tools etc).

Implement correct import and export procedures (rules of origin, customs tariff number, Incoterms)

Continuous improvement of the logistic efficiency and productivity (KPIs)

Leads the assigned team on the principle of the SFS corporate model and values

Principal duties

Responsible for warehouse management (FIFO) and operational logistic (packaging & shipping)

Collaborate closely with Production Planning to maintain high delivery service level

Responsible for maintaining required production paperwork / data entry

Responsible for daily shop-floor meetings with logistic team

Interface to external logistic service providers (shipping companies, packaging suppliers, Fenix)

Supports the Customer Service Teams consultative in logistic and custom clearance affairs

Accomplish physical stocktaking and reporting in cooperation with finance dep. & external auditors

Monitors and enforces cleaning and maintenance of assigned equipment and space

Has detailed knowledge of processes, work instructions and all applicable BMS guidelines in assigned department

Responsible that work instructions, QES standards and HR policies are followed within the team

Utilize, promote and support CIP and lean philosophy to improve productivity

Develop team know-how and skills by planning training and monitor it via skill matrix

Defines and implements MbO goals of the team members

Leads by example, improve teamwork and foster a good work climate

Criteria

Qualification requirements

Age

30 - 40

Language skills

Native language Chinese

Good in English (spoken and written)

Good verbal skills in Cantonese as an additional advantage

Education

Logistic, Shipping or Supply Chain Management Expert

Warehouse-Management or Production Planning Specialist

Good knowledge in international trade and domestic transportation

Chinese driving license would be a plus

Readiness to travel

Approx. 10% of working time

mainly in South China (eg service providers, custom bureau, Fenix-HK)

Experiences

Several years of experience in Logistic / SCM functions

Some years practice of importing and exporting goods international

Good knowledge of various logistic systems and computer skills

Familiar with various ERP Systems (eg SAP) would be beneficial

Additional assets : Worked for an international organization, knows Kaizen/CIP and Lean Mgmt principles, 5S, Quality systems TS 16949
