This is a seasoned principal software engineer position. He/she will be responsible for architecting large-scale cloud foundation, framework, sub-systems and their services. The successful candidate will be a top performer and versatile software professional leading the design, development and implementation of some key cloud products/services at eBay. It is based in Shanghai.

· Design and create large-scale cloud foundation, frameworks, sub-systems and their services.

· Create cloud architecture consistent with enterprise architectural standards, guidelines and principles. Work with engineers to ensure implementations conforming the principals.

· Demonstrated deep cloud domain knowledge combined with the broader business context to support eBay's business growth through cloud engineering.

· Work with cross team/org engineers, product management, QA and operation in multi-geo locations to lead in design, implementation and code reviews. Proven collaboration capabilities.

· Demonstrate thought leadership and evangelize innovations. Identifies opportunities for product roadmap and engineering excellence.

· Be the tech guru who is frequently consulted by engineers, directors and other executives.
