职位描述
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES / DUTIES:
1. Manage data for the negotiation activity - QEACS loading, interpretation, Data for the Negotiations, MPN/AVL specifics, net demand, translation to local codes and currencies.
2. Loads and maintains accurate contract data as directed and approved by the GCM
3. Assure deployment of commodity strategies and pricing for global sites.
4. SDA provides reports to GCM the Supplier and Commodity projected Spend Analysis
5. First line of contact for any pricing issues that arise from the manufacturing locations, work with the ALU EMS primes
Suppliers, to meet or exceed published cost reduction goals within agreed-to time frames.
6. Assist the Regional Quote Centers in obtaining competitive and timely quotes.
7. Work with sites, Customer Supply Chain Mangers to coordinate sourcing strategies and ensure a smooth and timely manufacturing ramp on new programs.
8. Measure and report regional results based on commodity plans and metrics.
9. Monitor timely commodity market conditions, technology roadmaps, and supply demand equations. Translate all into short and long-term commodity strategies.
10. Discrepancy resolution with EMS and Factory, Data integrity checks with GPMA, Resolve Data Quality issues.
11. Work with TCM and GCM - checking and correcting misclassified parts and outstanding AML issues.
12. Rationalization Reporting APN/MPN, No Contract, Payment Terms, GPMA Discrepancies GCM commodity/supplier analysis as requested (ie quarterly reviews, nego preparation)
13. RFQ’s for one year requirements, answer the questions and deal with the issues came from Vendors
14. Work with GCM together to meet the daily requirement from internal buyer, BU and AP group
15. Support GCM on current GPMA price data, AML and demand information for their daily negotiation
16. Weekly meeting between GCM and SDA group.
17. Filing required supporting documents to the service. Eg, annual nego RFQ, manufacture confirmation files.
18. Support GCM on Lead-time Negotiation.
REQUIRED Basic Qualifications (must have skills):
1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree with a technical or business major, and 3-5 years purchasing/materials experience.
Experience in commodity management or procurement in multiple manufacturing site environment.
2. Very strong skills in MS office software applications, particularly Excel and Access.
3. 3 to 5 Experience with and understanding of electronic components. Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret supply/demand data and recognize market trends impacting the commodity.
4. Good communication skills, ability to work with all levels of management.
5. Excels in high-velocity, volatile environment
6. Advanced communication skills, ability to present ideas and concepts clearly, both verbally and in presentation/report form.
7. Ability to work with customers (internal and external) and suppliers to drive initiatives.
