Junior Service- and Test-Engineer (m/f)
Test systems for automotive development

Location: Changchun (China)

The Test Systems division of KRATZER AUTOMATION plans and implements test systems for automotive development and is considered a market leader in this area. Complex systems are required for intensive testing of the entire vehicle or individual components such as the turbocharger, engine, transmission, chassis and drive train, as well as alternative drive concepts including hybrid and fuel cell technology. We design and develop these test systems as general contractor with overall responsibility including planning and project execution. Our core competence is development of software with challenging functions for measuring, control and regulation.

For the further development of test stand applications in a test field with different test stands in Changchun we are looking for a trustworthy engineer.

Your future tasks:

- Implementation of new automation features for the test stands using our automation system PAtools, to inter alia include the migration of software in the test field to new versions of PAtools, the introduction of new hardware and technologies and functional adaptations
- Maintenance of data structures in close coordination with our customers and our development department
- Immediate support to our customers in the test field if questions occur
- Ensure test stand security in hardware and software through regular testing and adjustment
- Several weeks of training at the company headquarters in Germany

Skills and experience required:

- Successful University degree in engineering with a strong reference to the measurement and automation technology in hardware and software
- Good knowledge of process measuring and control technology
- Graduates and young professionals, preferably with some initial experience in project planning and programming of test stands in the automotive industry, are welcome
- Experience in the use of software tools for data logging and automation
- Technical comprehension of complex constructions such as test stands and the ability to quickly learn new procedures in various technical tasks
- Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and interest for modern mobility concepts
- Chinese language skills on native level and good command of English
- Person of integrity, ability to work independently, showing initiative, team spirit and customer focus
