Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Gildan China Trading Company, LTD
Shanghai, China
Position
Description: The CSR position will work as part of the customer service team whose purpose is to provide service and support to the Asian customer base. The CSR will be involved with all Customer Service functions of the order life cycle from order-entry through to invoicing. This position is a support position for Customers and for the Asia-Pacific Sales team who require stats, reports, and customer buying activities. The CSR will communicate regularly with the Distribution Center and with Sales Operations to ensure the customers’ orders are delivered as requested.
Responsibilities:
1. To provide support for the customer and the sales team so that all requests can be met on time and accurately.
2. To understand and apply the customer’s compliance requirements to all orders, avoid chargeback penalties, and maintain a high customer satisfaction rate.
3. Track orders through the life cycle to ensure we meet the customer expectations.
4. Manage all open orders to ensure they are progressing through the cycle and escalate the urgency when you see potential delivery issues.
5. Maintain the Customer Master as accounts and locations are added.
6. Look ahead at inventory relative to new booking to assess the abilities to fill orders. Proactively work with Operations to make sure the goods are available when needed.
7. Continue improvement through training, expanding your scope, and self evaluation
Qualifications:
Graduate or one-year working experience is good. Proficient in Microsoft Office and should have experience with a full functional computerized Order Management System.
Ability to work as part of a team with other CSR’s, with the sales team, operations support group, and with the distribution center staff to maintain processes so that order are shipped and meet the customer’s requirements.
Possess experience within a manufacturing company supplying product to Retail customers. Position does require a university degree.
Ability to communicate in English and Chinese.
