JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Regional Sales Engineer
Business: Water and Waste Water treatment equipment
Company: Nordic Water Products (Beijing) Co., Ltd.
Business report to: National Sales Manager, Nordic Water Products (Beijing) Co., Ltd.
Location: Shanghai
GENERAL SUMMARY
This position is mainly about spending most of the time at relevant design institutes collecting information about projects timely and have technical communication with the designers about Nordic Waters products.
Co-ordination between local agent/ end-user and designers will be an important part of the job.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Set up good relationships with related design institutes and other resources to collect markets information.
Provide relevant technical and commercial information to the established relationships.
Set up meetings with end-use and co-ordinate with local agent when applicable.
Establish and maintain a yearly business plan, including annual orders and sales budgets.
Monthly forecast shall be given to the National Sales manager.
Perform market research, analyze potential markets shares, and learn competitors well.
Responsible for business within the defined region.
Achieve business growth year-over-year.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Equipment or related field experience
Years of experience working within water and waste water field is preferable
Basic understanding of water and waste water treatment plants is preferable
Fluent use of computer programs such as Excel and Microsoft Word or other related software.
Good spoken and written English is not required but preferable
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position requires traveling when needed but mainly stay locally in the area.
