Posting Title: Covisint Telematics Solution BD Director/Manager
Division: Covisint, China Market
Position Summary:
The Covisint Telematics Solution BD Manager/Director is responsible for identifying, qualifying and selling Covisint's technology to potential China based customers. This individual will also be responsible for partnership/channel development in China.
Primary Roles/Responsibilities:
? Develop a go to market and partnership strategy for Greater China.
? Form and manage the business relationship with key channel partners to achieve the sales target.
? Understand and position against competitive offerings in Telematics and Automotive Industry
? Build a pipeline of sales opportunities, forecast and report sales activity.
? Deliver Covisint sales presentations/overview demonstrations (detailed demos are done by pre-sales consultants)
? Own the Statement of Work development
? Travel as required
Required Skills/Competencies:
? Excellent English communication skills.
? Several years of experience specifically in software platform or technology sales in China (Telematics preferred)
? Several years of partnership / channel management experiences in china.
? A track record of success direct/indirect selling in the Information Technology marketplace
? Significant experience interfacing at the C-Level
? Ability to partner with key technology associates
? Ability to prioritize and manage time according to deliverable opportunities
? Ability to present technology overviews per hardware, services and advanced technology solutions to large groups of clients, partner and associates
? Able to work cross functional and proven success in being able to influence others that are not in their direct control.
Desired Skills/Competencies:
? Proven success in maintaining relationships with China enterprise organizations
? Experience of successful channel campaigns (target market, built the program, implemented) –with a strong sense of being able to drive marketing support and resources.
? Established relationships with executives and IT decision-makers throughout a local/regional territory
? Proven ability to present to and interact with C-Level executives (credible, strong presence etc)
? Experience or background dealing with (or consulting to) the IT department
