This is a leading role which oversees one or two analysts. The role focuses on driving change & better decisions, through intense data analysis. He / She needs to think above and beyond simply providing regular analysis on CRM. This individual will support the global marketing analytics team and partner with broader marketing functions.

• Lead a team of 2 to 3 analysts
• Leveraging the marketing knowledge as well as the eBay database, identify actionable insights and recommendations on consumer seller marketing initiatives.
• Lead ad-hoc projects, collaborate with other analytics functions
• Effectively communicate results to analytics partners and cross functional groups.

• Successful candidates will offer a strategic perspective, sound business judgment, deep analytical capabilities and a collaborative working style, all that with a roll-up-the-sleeves, action-oriented mindset. Capability and experience in leading a team of analysts to achieve their potential is also the key.
• Understand the general e-Commerce industry business model, preferably with marketing experience
• Lead ad-hoc projects, collaborate with other analytics functions and effectively communicate results to analytics partners and cross functional groups.
• Experience in analyzing large, multi-dimensional datasets (SQL) and extracting insights from diversified data/results
• Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, working knowledge of SAS or R.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines in a dynamic/changing environment
• High energy, strong work ethic, willingness to do "whatever it takes" to get to the results
• Team player with partnering and collaboration skills
