We are looking for result oriented and dynamic individuals to join our Hometextiles division in the following positions:

Position : Manager----Merchandising

Division : Hometextiles

Location: Shanghai, China

Main Accountabilities:

1. To follow through with the suppliers to ensure conformance to customers specifications in quality as well as delivery.
2. To identify the right suppliers to meet customers needs.
3. To be able to develop sourcing network to meet competitive to customers specifications in quality as well as delivery.
4. To create and maintain a culture of excellence and performance in the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Tertiary education in textiles/hometextiles with minimum 5-7 years of international business in a buying house with 3-5 years in similar capacity and proven track record of successful business development.
2. Competencies – must be detailed & process oriented hands on, business acumen, customer service orientation, flexibility, resourcefulness, result orientated and team leadership.
3. Knowledge of garment process, costing and quality control.
4. Network of garment/hometextiles sources in China will be an added advantage.
