SEFI is subsidiary of DEF (http://www.def-online.com.cn/) specialized in the design and manufacture of fire safety panels since 1970. This French company is in China since 2006.

Your role as an embedded software engineer will be to work within our R&D team to adapt an existing product to Chinese standards requirement, maintain products, and be involved in future developments.
We expect that you will study problem, suggest solution, after validation with the project manager to realize, test, validate and document the solution.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate experience and skills in many of the following areas:

- A master in Computer Science
- 5+ years experience in real time “C” application development;
- MISRA C coding rules;
- Protocol development experience e.g. TCP/IP, Modbus, RS232, RS422, I2C, SPI;
- Experience in safety software development;
- SVN revision control, IAR workbench
- Knowledge in Linux and Qt;
- Good English both verbal and written;
- Basic French is a plus;
- Excellent rigor and autonomy are required.
