Job Summary:

Lattice is the source for innovative FPGA, PLD, and programmable Power Management solutions. We design and develop programmable logic solutions, which allow the end customer to determine functionality. Responsibilities:

• Contributing member of a team validating the implementation of full solutions provided by our Programmable Logic Products.

• Develop designs in the Lattice Diamond Software Suite, incorporating IP Products, completing Simulation of Logic and Timing Performance, and validate performance under Customer Use Environment.

• Participate with the Lattice Field Applications Engineering and Factory Applications Engineering Teams to resolve complicated Customer Applications Issues.

• Interface with Software Solutions, IP and Silicon Solutions Development Teams to develop technical System Validation requirements, implement thorough validation routines of New Product Platforms, and feedback customer and field issues to drive Continuous Improvement in the R&D Group.

Requirements:

• B.S. / M.S. Electrical Engineering Degree.
  
• 8+ Years of experience implementing Logic Design using High Performance FPGA Products.
  
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages and PC-based productivity tools. VHDL and Verilog experience.
  
• Direct hands-on experience with High Speed I/O, SERDES, High Speed Clocking, and other System Design and Development Issues.
• Good understanding of telecom/datacom systems.
  
• Experience taking a High Performance System Solution through Validation and Characterization, including debug and failure analysis, and manufacturing release to the market is a significant plus.
  
• Must be detail oriented with strong customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with multiple groups.
  
• Strong English language speaking and writing skills.
• Ability to travel to US / International locations.
